AZ Troop 194

AZ Troop 194 was founded in Surprise, Arizona on March 5, 2014 at 6:30 pm at Imagine Schools Rosefield.  The goal of AZ Troop 194 was to bring a Scouting program to the youth of Surprise, Arizona dedicated to youth led activities as prescribed by Boy Scouts of America.  The founding members of AZ Troop 194 believed in the Scout Oath and Law and the Troop remains dedicated to this today.  

AZ Troop 194 is currently chartered by Surprise Friends of Scouting.

AZ Troop 194 is a very active unit.  We have had Scouts participate in National Jamboree in 2017 and 2023.  Some of out Scouts have been to Philmont, SBR, and Sea Base.  We have had Scouts that have joined the Marines, Army, and Air Force.  We have also participated in some very extensive service projects including the 2018 clean up of Peppersauce Cave in southern Arizona.
